Reedsburg Public Library

Reedsburg, Wisconsin

15,000 Square Feet

Designed in the Prairie School Architectural Style of Frank Lloyd Wright

The 15,000 square foot Reedsburg Public Library is located in the Civic Plaza area of downtown Reedsburg. It is designed in a style reminiscent of the Prairie School architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright. To achieve a strong institutional character, high-quality materials including brick, stucco, and limestone were used on the exterior. These materials were combined with wood windows and a pitched roof to provide an inviting structure which relates well to the predominately residential character of the area.

In addition to library services, the building provides a community meeting room to accommodate 100 people, a conference room to accommodate 12 to 15 people, and a kitchen. These areas are accessible from the lobby when the library is closed.
