City of Eau Claire Fire Station #9

Eau Claire, Wisconsin

34,000 Square Feet

When the City of Eau Claire needed a new west side fire station and the Chippewa Valley Technical College required additional space for emergency services training, both entities decided to collaborate on the design and construction of a joint facility. The result of their efforts was a 34,000 square foot building that houses the City's west side fire station and CVTC's fire, police, and emergency services training facility.

The 10,000 square foot fire station includes four equipment bays, living spaces for on-duty firemen, and an office. The fire department also utilizes classrooms,a multi-purpose room, and other spaces in the CVTC portion of the EMS Center.
