Chippewa Valley Technical College

Following the relocation of the campus' Library / Learning Center Services to their new centralized location, the old Library area is being transformed into a much-needed Student Commons for CVTC's main Clairemont building (Business Education Center), including the relocation of a portion of the school's foodservice to this more visible location. The remodeled location also gave the campus and designers the opportunity to re-evaluate the original building's exterior skin and canopy (dark, recessed entry) and to redefine the facility's overall identity. The new Commons will have an abundance of natural light and will offer students a variety of study and lounge environments for interaction, as well as serving as an additional venue for large-group presentations.
