Recreation & Athletic Complex

University of Wisconsin-Stout

18,000 Square Feet

The University of Wisconsin-Stout needed to replace their existing football field and provide expanded outdoor student recreational spaces. The resulting project was a collaboration between the University, the School District of Menomonie and City of Menomonie and was partially funded by a public and private fundraising campaign.

The new complex includes a stadium to seat 4,500 attendees and an 18,000 square foot addition to the fieldhouse. Key areas provided by the project include a football field with artificial turf, multi-purpose gymnasium, fitness center and aerobics room. Special features of the complex include an indoor climbing wall and an outdoor Adventure Challenge Course which features a 50 foot-high exterior climbing tower and ropes course.
