NanoRite Innovation Center Addition

Addition

Chippewa Valley Technical College

Eau Claire, Wisconsin

40,000 Square Feet

Recognizing the need for a facility for the incubation of businesses using applications of Nanoscience, micromachining, and other emerging technologies, the Chippewa Valley Technical College pursued the design and construction of the NanoRite addition to CVTC's Gateway Manufacturing Education Center. The 40,000 square foot addition houses a class 100 cleanroom, wetlabs, high-end microscopy tools, micromachining equipment and other advanced manufacturing technology programs.

The NanoRite facility provides space for entrepreneurial research and business startup activities involving nanotechnology, microfabrication and biomedical ventures. Tenants are able to accelerate product development and prototyping activities through access to CVTC's facilities and equipment such as scanning electron and atomic force microscopes, micromachining and nanoscience devices.
