Chippewa Falls High School Addition

Addition

Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin

74,600 Square Feet

The Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District desired to move 9th grade students from the middle school to the high school. This, along with growth in the district, made it necessary to add 30 classrooms and additional music department facilities to the high school, and to expand and remodel other areas of the school.

The Seymour Cray Technology Wing is a two-story, 74,600 square foot addition which houses math, business, and science classrooms, science laboratories, and technology labs to allow the school to compartmentalize various departments. It also provides for a new kitchen and larger cafeteria.

A single-story, 2,400 square foot addition to the music department was also constructed. To meet other needs, 28,600 square feet of remodeling provided for a girls' team locker facility, an expanded guidance area, and technology updates.
