Elementary School

The 16,000 square foot Wakanda Elementary School addition includes nine classrooms, a dedicated music room with a sound proof practice room, an art room with specialized cabinetry and storage features, and shared pod resource areas outside of the classrooms. Site improvements include a rain garden to treat the storm water discharged from the new roof and a new playground area. During design, careful attention was given to match the existing building which resulted in an addition that is very difficult to differentiate from the original building.
