In an effort to make better use of the limited pastoral resources available, the Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church project was undertaken to consolidate three area parishes and accommodate them in a single church facility. Based upon a study of the various solutions, a decision was reached to construct a new 25,500 square foot church.

The Our Lady of the Lakes Church features nave seating for 600 people. Also, it has the capability of future expansion to 1000 people, achieved by relocating classrooms. The social hall provides seating for 250. In addition, the new facility includes a reservation chapel, reconciliation chapel, sacristies, cry room, library, offices and Pastor's living quarters. The design also accommodates a future covered entry.
