Addition & Remodeling
Eau Claire , Wisconsin |
9,300 Square Feet Remodeled |
11,800 Square Feet New Construction |
The Trinity Lutheran Church addition and remodeling project was the second of three phases planned for the church. The initial phase included a new fellowship hall/multi-purpose room, kitchen facilities, new choir rehearsal room, classrooms, accessible rest rooms and much-needed storage.
The second phase included 9,300 square feet of remodeling and 11,800 square feet of new construction, including the remodeling and expansion of the church's sanctuary and the addition of a new narthex and fireside room. By removing the existing side wall of the sanctuary and changing both the orientation and slope of the floor, the new sanctuary significantly increased in capacity while at the same time resulting in a much more intimate worship environment for everyone Also included in the project was a much larger narthex / gathering space with skylights and an inviting visitor's coffee center, a comfortable fireside room (which functions as a bride's room, family room and lounge), an improved children's nursery area and new accessible facilities.
