Addition & Remodeling
Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin |
8,600 Square Feet |
The addition and remodeling project at Trinity United Methodist Church stemmed from a need for an accessible entrance that would be compatible with their historic downtown church. In addition, the congregation was in need of a larger fellowship hall, gathering space and church offices.
The project involved a new fellowship hall and kitchen of 8,600 square feet and remodeling of an additional 1,800 square feet to include offices with a workroom and a larger gathering space/lobby. The newly constructed entrance features a covered drop off with a lift provided for access to existing levels.
The relatively confined space was expanded through acquisition of several surrounding properties, which allowed for the development of the building addition plus additional on-site parking. A steeply pitched roof was incorporated into the design, and served as a key element to tie the addition to the existing design aesthetically.
